  6. Rodhawgfishingco says:

Nice!!! Would be really nice if we could get some ice up here. The pond finally capped over and I can’t imagine how long it’ll take for the lakes to freeze up

  7. OhioOutdoorsman19 says:

You must be rich or can catch crappies any day you want.
I fish for food and sport, for the food aspect I can keep them and freeze them and eat them another day because you never know if you will do that good again. I can always release the next trip out if I do. For the sport aspect obviously these fish are stunted at a paper cut 9in. so a few cleaned out will only help.

  8. MiCHAELibObPeb says:

Catch and release? I mean… 5-10 crappie for dinner is okay but the other 20 to the freezer? /:

thats what i did exactly to get a 16+ inch crappie

  33. masterbassrocks1 says:

We always appreciate your input. Thanks for posting.

  34. masterbassrocks1 says:

    Exactly! Thanks for your comment!

  35. masterbassrocks1 says:

We absolutely agree that you can catch crappies on live minnows, but we find that we have plenty of action with artificial baits too.

  36. masterbassrocks1 says:

Thanks! That’s great to hear! Mission accomplished!

  37. masterbassrocks1 says:

It does take me some time, but I really wanted to do videos that look different than everything else out there. Thanks for noticing and commenting!

  38. masterbassrocks1 says:

Wow! That’s a serious crappie! Congrats to your friend!

  39. masterbassrocks1 says:

Well thank you! I’m glad to hear we helped. I hope you catch a bunch!

  40. masterbassrocks1 says:

Nice! I got my personal best crappie on a 1/2 oz bass-sized spinner bait. Crappie are surprisingly aggressive predators.

  41. masterbassrocks1 says:

Thanks! That’s nice to hear. Informative and funny is exactly what we were trying to do.

  42. masterbassrocks1 says:

Thanks! Glad you like the video!

  43. MrAUFANATIC says:

yeah live minnows are good…. that’s why they make fake ones too…..when you fish with fake food you have to make it look real….doesn’t matter what you’re fishing for… I would rather pay 2 bucks and catch a lot of fish than paying 2 bucks a hour to buy minnows….i use a fake silver minnow and i catch 30 crappies which is the limit where i fish at within 3 hours and use the same jig everytime….

  44. matthewhopson says:

Hahaha.. I’m right there with you..

  45. masterbassrocks1 says:

Wow! Thanks so much for the compliment!

    New videos coming soon! Cheers!
