Congratulations on your “catchfest”.! Head and body color can make a difference in different waters across our country. All of our colors catch fish at different times, that’s why we make them. TIP: If you getting short strikes – try trimming off the first section [and maybe the second] of the body. This effectively moves the hook back closer to the tail. At certain times this can make a difference if the crappie are short striking.. Sore Lip ‘Em All..

  2. Color does not make a difference we caught over 75 crappie while using black, white, yellow, green, blue, and chartreuse. We had to switch colors because they were biting the tails off

All of our Crappie Magnet colors are available online [every order ships for $5.95]. Many outdoor and tackle stores carry our products, if they don’t ask them to stock them.

Crappie Magnets are sold online where you can get all the colors we produce. There are many outdoor stores and tackle shops that carry our Crappie Magnet products as well.. If your favorite tackle store does not carry them, ask them to order some. Walmart does not currently carry the Crappie Magnet product line..

Do they sell these at Walmart or is this a online order only ???…

  6. lelandslures says:

    – a lot of guys use our Trout Magnet products successfully on crappie [specifically our white/chartreuse and red TM’s. Our crappie magnets are specifically designed for crappie and can be fished tight lined to cover or cast and fished under a float. All of our colors catch fish, you will have to find the color that works on your waters.. All the best.. Sore Lip “Em All..

im about to buy the trout 152 piece kit and was wondering if they would work for crappie???????????

  8. lelandslures says:

Our Crappie Magnets are indeed a bigger profile but have the same fish catching shape as our Trout Magnets. Crappie Magnets have a larger diameter body to accomodate many of the jigs crappie fishermen use. Crappie Magnets split tails being longer move and tantalize the crappie into biting. It is practically impossible to fish this lure and not have the split tails move.

I absolutely LOVE the Crappie Magnet. I live up in NJ and have been trying to catch these damn things and have had no luck. Today I caught TWENTY SIX. I kid you not. I’m heading out tomorrow to get some more colors and the Trout Magnet kit for the upcoming Winter stocking.
