More Crappie Fishing with Jigs in Springtime

Here’s another video showing the slow reel method for catching crappie in the spring. Its very important to experiment with your depths and rate of retrieve, but once you key in, it is non stop action. We normally just cast 1/32 oz jigs or road runners, but we had to mix it up a little with the beetle spi

    @Jedhaase yeah i usually use a net just in case there mouth rips u don’t loose the fish

  2. @BigJoesfishing oh, I do bieleve that because after i take the hook off crappies there usually a big mark where the hook was set.

    @Jedhaase since he didn’t answer u back yes u do sometimes for crappies they r called paper mouths for a reason the hooks easily rip out of there mouths!
