For you guys and the boats! We fished the opener for the Puyallup River, and just hit the Nisqually today. Its dead! Almost got nocked over by a 230lb harbor seal 3 miles up river though. Swam under water about 2 feet infront of me. Scared the bujesus out of me.

It sounds like a great evening to spend by the fireplace. Stay warm and safe! We are going to try the recipe as soon as we get some fresh Crappie or Sea Bass.

  12. Well it`s a good thing you guys are in Washington – Central Alberta is supposed to get our winter tonight up to 10″ overnight seen it comming though all we had was 6″ all winter – But thanks for the comment , Oh did you happen to try my Cajun cheese recipe yet .

  13. fishn2gthr4ever says:

ybm24, thanks for watching and commenting! No, a fishfinder isn’t necessary to find the fish – just watch for structure and overhanging limbs. It has been a little chillier than usual for this time of year, but the bite should turn on by mid-May. Don’t forget to bring and wear your PFD – the lake can look calm and safe, but that can be deceiving as , there are a great deal of submerged underwater stumps/debris. Have a safe journey and have fun! Blessings, Glen & Cami

nvm lol i didnt wait long enough to ask

  21. NISMOfanseattle says:

    what were you using ?

  22. fishn2gthr4ever says:

Crappie sure are fun little critters to catch. Those were average size, but they do get up to a couple of pounds in some of the lakes around here. If you get back into town during the summer give us a holler. We will take you out Salmon fishing. Blessings, Glen & Cami.

  23. DrugfreeJac0b says:

The crappie in NC pale in comparison

  24. Octavio Rincon says:

Great video as always, thanks for sharing your technique,I’m looking forward to taking my kids there again this year.Last summer we couldn’t find the crappies just some blue gill and trout, this year we’ll be better prepared.

  25. kevinb1756 says:

Excellent video! This is Esox Angler from Gamefishin. My son and I fish here often.Kapowsin doesn’t get the respect it deserves for crappie, this past summer we did very well with quality perch too. Certainly some big bass hiding in here too. You two know how to have a good time,I’m sure one of these days we’ll meet up.
Thanks again for the video, now spring needs to hurry up and get here
