  9. dwntwnall4unme says:

I need to take my niece out there. Catch us some crappie.

  10. MrEastside619 says:

Yeah I know if I could’ve release I would’ve it’s just at this lake that’s the rule and that’s how the Rangers at the lake explained to me time after time…

  11. friendlykorean1 says:

You have to keep whatever you catch? I ‘ve never heard of that. I ‘ve heard of catch and release rules, but having to keep what you catch is weird. I read that in the Potomic river if you catch those Snakehead fish from Thailand or Cambodia or wherever they are from, they must be kept and killed because they will kill and eat everything, but those fish you caught are Crappies. Crappies are prized catch. They’re not junk fish like carp or destroyers like snakeheads.

  12. MrEastside619 says:

yea I eat them because over there is not Catch & Release we have to keep what ever we catch…

  13. friendlykorean1 says:

Nice vid. What did you do with them Crappies? Did you eat em? Them lil niggas is delicious, bro. The best way to eat em is to fillet and fry after rolling them in a light batter or breadcrumbs. It taste better than the way most azns like to cook fish.

  14. asiandude666 says:

Great vid. Def somethings I’m gonna try this week at my pond.

  25. great videos of the crappie catchin’! keep ’em up!!

  26. mrmarco229 says:

if you want to catch crappie just go to a different pond and use a roadrunner lure. thats what i caught my first crappie on ever. they are very effective and are cheap you should get the smallest one because the big crappie and little crappie can eat/bite it. also you can use minnows with a bobber attached i think those are the 2 best methods of catching crappie. good luck

  27. William B Tedrick says:

Green sunfish, rockbass or goggle eye will look somewhat like a bass.

  28. iv’e never caught a crappie.i live in texas but i dont fish at lakes and deffinitely not the ocean yet.i normally fish at a pond by my step-grandparents house.the only fish there are bluegill, large mouth bass, and some other fish that iv’e never seen in my life.it looks like a really small large mouth bass.

  29. xtremefishing101 says:

    sweet vid

  30. Buffleheads, not baffleheads

  31. William B Tedrick says:

I use the same gear for crappie and bass. light to medium action cheap reels and rods are normal for me. Line is usually Ande 6 lb test or any other decent name brand. I’m not a gear guy I’ve got a dozen or so rods and reels and a ton of fly gear but none of it is expensive. I haven’t used much live bait until recently when the lake I fish is being drawn down and the fish need thinning.

  32. HATINTHEKAT says:

wat kinda poles r u using? wats it rated for? and wat kinda line u using? i use a pflueger president reel and rod combo, very nice with some 6 pound flouro, have u ever tried berkley crappie nibbles? they are AMAZING for when times are slow, or wen times are hot, pink and chart. they work wonders on crappie and panfish, and bass here and there

  33. HATINTHEKAT says:

damn those crappie are big, here in cold washington, our crappie are like 12 at most, if ur lucky, 8 is the norm =[

  34. runincool01 says:

I liked the tip about using a popper style lure as a bobber.

  35. fl4v0rfu11 says:

i would love to fish there 😛

  36. William B Tedrick says:

Don’t worry about that! I’ll fish until they put me in the dirt!

  37. crappiemancali408 says:
