great way to store them, do you just put the meat in the bags and fill up with water and freeze?
i always used 2 litter bottles, cut the top off fill with water and meat and freeze. your way is way more compact and not near as bulky as the 2 litter way. Now i know how im going to be freezing my fish from now on!!!!
from my knowledge this is cause the cats kill the other fish accidentally this is just my speculation i myself mix them in the live well but my dad and grandpa never did
@Winkiedoodles. Not too sure, I have never heard that. But i do try to divide the cats and crappie up. Do to the fact that i let the cats suck air for a while before i filet them. But i do know that some ppl are big catfish fishers and others big crappie fishers, not both. I just enjoy fishing. I would rather fight a catfish, and eat a crappie but you cant get both. @LoneStarSurfandTurf, I love the boat too. And its not the first time i caught a catfish on a crappie jig. Dad is busyin driving a big truck hauling milo and beans for the month so im on my own for a while. If i thought that it would keep i would sure send you some crappie, but i sure don’t want it to spoil.

take your filets and put them in a ziploc bag put water in it and put it on a cookie sheet and freeze them flat
yeah THANKS i have 5 zip lock bags with bass fillets now. Really great way to store the meat.

@epicchapnasty, Kool Aid and Hot dogs, 2 packs of kool aid per pack of dogs, cut in 1/4in pieces “for the cats”
