  11. Jakeman1260 says:

    my favorite fishing problem: which fish do i reel in first?

  12. stratosguy1 says:

    @TheBuckhunter12 2 quick summaries for your confusion…
    The Carolina crappie fishing rig requires a main reel line, a barrel swivel, somewhere around six feet of leader line, a weight, a brass (or glass) bead or rattle chamber, and a hook. While there are a lot of parts and pieces involved, it’s definitely worth using, as it will achieve results every time.
    People also troll with a modified carolina rig with a bigger weight like 3 ounces or so to keep the line straight down while moving.

  13. stratosguy1 says:

    @TheBuckhunter12 Well dumbass there are several ways to fish it. Maybe before you decided to look like a real ass you might do a little research first. Carolina rigs are used for water 10-12 feet jigging with the weight suspended off the bottom people also use drop shot for crappie.. I would post a link to several but it’s easy to search carolina rig crappie. Now go back and sulk in you stupidity.

  14. TheBuckhunter12 says:

    @stratosguy1 Are you serious? You do know a Carolina rig is for bass right!? Dumbass?

  15. damn gramps, get some WD40

    @TheScotts74

    The depth I fish in the winter time varies due to the temperature of the water. It can be anywhere from 12 ft to 25 ft. As far as the bait I use, 95% of the time I use a 3/32 jig head with various colors of jig skirts made by Southern Pro. I usually tip my jigs with Berkley crappie nibbles.

  23. TheScotts74 says:

    what do you use for bait and how deep do you fisah in the winter

  24. Very nice video! Would love to see another, but i know it takes a lot to make one. just out of curiosity, i saw you got a new boat, what kind did u get?

  25. signmanification says:

  35. casey10614 says:

    Crappie on an acre pond, must have good management. Do you stock minnows (shiners) each year?

  36. jtschid0910 says:

    1:11 to 1:42 That is what I have said my whole life. Now don’t get me wrong, I do release some of the smaller fish but, why would anybody spend that much money to watch the darn things swim away!

  37. ive fished for 2 years since i was 9 im 11 right now

  38. thebeastoftoday says:

    @assaultcrusader
    go fish the ponds of bonita springs.

  39. awesome!

  40. AssaultCrusader says:

    My best secret spot is filled with catfish trying to swim against the current. And I never caught crappie before :( Anyone got good freshwater spots near palm bay fl. ?

  42. NJFisherman100 says:

    i love fishing of of boats but i love fishing from the bank better also where are you cacthing those monsters?

  43. This reminds me of my childhood, full of outdoor memories and great fun. I feel bad for the kids I see in the city who don’t even know how to tie a hook.

  44. cornbread2332 says:

    I can say you have a nice fishing spot there, it sucjs that you can’t fish at alot of good ponds because people leave trash around. Good fishing you guys have there keep it up,cornbread

  45. kormus100 says:

    @FishboiFishboi they keep them int he cage only because they dont want to cach the small ones again

  46. @jumar1281 Dont get fooled into the certain fish only like certain things. Fish eat to survive just like we do. I have seen the biggest fish eat the smallest worms. Even silly things like Hot Dogs, Corn, baloney, etc etc. All of those things you mentioned will work for crappies. Things that mimic minnows may work better because that is their main food source, but dont think you cant catch them on plastics and nightcrawlers.

  47. chazfensk says:

    That;s living right there!

  48. FishboiFishboi says:

    i like the thinking of these guys. catching and not releasing

  49. FishboiFishboi says:

    @jumar1281 i’m more of an artificial man b/c minnows can run out fast and its really annoying when the crappie are hitting left to right. so for me i like using red heads and green tails.

  50. mjwilks07 says:

    @jumar1281 go to wal-mart or order on-line some crappie jigs some of the best colors is black and chartreuse and red and charteuse…but you can try any color you want or what works in your area

  51. Nothing like seeing the full moon glistening over Weiss lake while coming over the bridge…
